Game Designer. Author. All Around Nice Guy.Meet Robert S. Campbell, or "Scott" to those who've survived prolonged exposure to his peculiar brand of creativity. For over three decades, this professional Game Designer has been inflicting his imagination upon unsuspecting players worldwide. As co-owner and Creative Director of WhiteMoon Dreams, Inc., he's made it his mission to ensure no digital realm remains untouched by his particular brand of madness. Scott's claim to fame includes being the Lead Story Designer for the original Fallout (PC), presumably because someone left him unsupervised with a post-apocalyptic sandbox. His design fingerprints can be found on an alarmingly diverse array of games, from the cute and cuddly Neopet's The Darkest Faerie (PS2) to the bloody sword and sorcery of Myth III: The Wolf Age (PC), and the mind-bending multiplayer VR shooter Starblood Arena (PS4VR). One shudders to think what connects these disparate worlds in the labyrinth of his mind. When not basking in the relentless sunshine of Pasadena, Scott can be found hunched over his desk, churning out game designs by the thousands. In a shocking plot twist, he's penned his first novel, The Rats Beneath the Walls, presumably because tormenting gamers wasn't enough. Ask him what he does when not making games, and you'll be treated to a thousand-yard stare and the chilling mutter of "...make... more games..." It's said he has more ideas than game titles in existence, each meticulously crafted over years. Now, he's turning to novels to unleash these "precious" ideas upon readers, because apparently, the world hasn't suffered enough. Brace yourselves, dear readers, for the unleashing of Campbell's unfiltered imagination. You've been warned. Send me an Email: |
